This movie is how I got my daughter's name

I had watched this movie on TV about two years before we started trying to have a family. I spelled it different so it would get pronounced right,since when most people see the name they want to say with a long E instead of a long A. My daughter is now 20 and the name fits her so well.

They sing it constantly: The square of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the squares of the two adjacent sides. I never forgot it, and learned that you can do a lot more than calculate hypotenuses. I went on to major in Physics, in college.
