Lucille Ball?
I just saw this movie on TCM and I thought I heard Ben Mancewicz said that Lucille Ball starred in the movie "Hello Dolly". Did I hear him correctly or was I not paying attention?
shareMancewicz is confused. Lucille Ball starred in the film of "Mame". Barbra Streisand starred in "Hello Dolly". Both musicals were written by Jerry Herman, thus the mistake. You'd think someone at TCM would have caught it.
shareWhat Ben Mankicewicz knows about classic movies could fit on the head of a pin. Don't know how he was chosen to be on TCM, he's really not into old movies, just comedy.
