Plot inaccuracy 'a hundred miles from anywhere.....'

Steam locomotives of the day had to stop every ten miles or so to take on water and fuel. Water especially. Cooper mentions the next town being "a hundred miles away." Small towns naturally sprung up at these train stops.

Oh well, it's a small inaccuracy in an otherwise excellent movie.

Well the water and wood stop the train just made wasn't in a town. The nearest TOWN could be 100 miles; with a water and wood stop every ten miles for the next 90 miles.
