Check out the 5/19/11 reply to my thread about the Cheezy Flicks release. The DVD is terrible.

Thanks again! You always have great info, hobnob53.

You're welcome, babettegillette, but how come it took a year before you saw it?! (Not a criticism, I find it funny!)

I'm hoping one day this movie will come out on the MGM Limited Edition DVD-R label (mostly UA titles like this one). They've released a lot of great 50s UA titles: The Magnetic Monster, Gog, The Quatermass Xperiment and many others. They also released an odd 1958 film called Cop Killer starring this film's leads, Robert Loggia and Ellen Parker, and with a very young Jerry Orbach, so it's not inconceivable they might release The Lost Missile.

It is still available from Sci-Fi Station, and Sinister Cinema occasionally brings it back for a brief period (as they did recently), though it's now off their standard catalogue. But a good mainstream release would be nice. (Also Red Planet Mars, another film marred by Cheezy Flicks.)

Shorlty after my posting, I took a chance and got one from Amazon. I was a bit leary after a bad experience purchasing Beast Of Morocco from Amazon.

Ran out of old genre movies to comment on, so was away for a while. Delighted to see more activity on these boards, but hoping for yet more interest(but not crazed Twilight-level interest). Please keep on keepin' on at IMDB,hobnob53!

You, too, b/g. Off now to take a peek at your two other recent posts to me. See you there!
