The Lineup

"The Lineup" in my opinion is a great movie and it suprises me that it is not available on VHS. Eli Wallach plays the part of a psycho so well. I saw the movie on TV twice during the mid '60's. I've been trying to hunt down a private party that might have the movie on VCR tape to make me a copy, but to no avail thus far.

Me, too. I'd love to see this one released on DVD. If you find a dealer who has this, let us know.

This movie was originally a TV series during the 50's called 'The Lineup' and titled 'San Francisco Beat' in syndication later....Warner Anderson as Lt Ben Guthrie was teamed with Tom Tully as Inspector Matt Grebb in the series....I was surprised not to see Tully in the movie though...he and Anderson played a very good team of SF detectives and it was shown in syndication for years after the original series ended.

Just a little weird?

Always seems like a gent, to me...and he's a terrific writer. Course, the obsession w/ his mother is a little odd, but which of us can say how he or she would react under those circumstances?

I read he once went to church with his mother and she always wore bicycle clips whilst mowing the lawn. A real sicko there.

Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

It comes out on DVD this week FYI.

"I disagree with your opinion about this film, what are you going to do about it?"
