Were hilarious. I know they movie is over 50 years old but I couldn't help but laugh at how fake they looked.
Otherwise a very good movie. My only major complaint is that we don't meet dancer until almost 20 minutes in. Oh well.
I felt the death fall of Dancer looked pretty real, even though I knew it had to be a dummy.
shareI thought it was great that they were going for graphic deaths. The Eli Wallach one needed cuts to work better. They held on that shot more than they should have.
That first one was pretty freaky, though, I thought!

The Dancer fall wasn't great but it was nice and violent. Overall I really enjoyed the movie. Solid cast and good film noir. It got even darker once they grabbed the mom and kid. That little girl had to be seriously traumatized.
shareAlso, at the beginning, the cop clearly jumped out of the way of the cab, but a sound effect was added to help it appear he was hit.
