Favorite Scenes

The best part of the movie for me are the scenes involving the wake. The way Frank Skeffington operates and how he deals with the undertaker about the cost of funeral is great. Much credit goes to Spencer Tracey.

PS: Ms. Boylan, the old lady with the "Hobby" was hysterical

My favorite scene was the tracking shot of Skeffington walking through the park alone with the partying and parading on the streets behind him.

Ditto on the wake and funeral arrangements. It is one of the most corrupt and cruel industries on the planet (me, I'm not letting them get a dime as I'm being cremated and no services will be held)
The old lady (Jane Darwell) was tops and they couldn't have picked a better actress (jane had been around for ages) And her saying ("Naco looks grand!") LOL
