Samurai classic?

I really don't understand why this was included with the 4 samurai classic boxed set. The seven samurai, Yojimbo and Sanjuro all have a main theme about samurai, but this is more on the level of something like Throne of blood.

It was a really great show. Loved all of it, but really I think the set is kind of misleading in including this with those other samurai films. Mifune's character wasn't developed as a samurai very strongly, he felt much more like a general (which to my understanding he was).

Great film though. Very underated.
