I like this film

It's pleasingly grown-up if a little forced at times.
When you think about it there are actually three couples in the film and I think Phyllis Calvert and Cecil Parker or Megs Jenkins and David Kossoff would have made interesting subjects of their own - a portmanteau type approach with 3 interwoven stories would have been nice.

I agree with you. I see a lot of disparaging remarks about INDISCREET but I thought it was a nice bit of frothy fun and it's refreshing to see a romantic comedy between middle-aged actors. I feel a lot of the negativity comes from comparing this to NOTORIOUS-- and that's a high bar for any movie to clear!

Its an enjoyable movie, a bit of froth carried by the star power of the leads.

Because while I do adore watching Grant and Bergman, I can't help noting that the film reads like a staged play, and that the comedy is Hella slow to get started. It seems to shift from a romance to a farce halfway through, which is just odd.

I love the look on Ingrid's face, rolling her eyes and such, after she learns that Cary Grant's character isn't married. It just cracks me up.
