illegal immigration

How did the spaceship land without being picked up on radar, and how did the "illegal aliens" hide it for so long. A real screw up in border security.

The Aliens probably had stealth technology. The borders were no problem. They flew in. At least the saucer wasn't lit up like the one in "E.T.".

In light of yesterday's shootings at an immigration center, it seems like a lame attempt at humor. Interesting double feature for TCM on illegal immigrants moving into the neighborhood and trying to take over. I did watch Robert Osborne's introduction to IOTBS and noticed he didn't mention it was the studio's cus.

He did mention Sam Peckinaph working on the film, and I proofreading a mini-biography of Peckinpah where the writer said he had directed the film, not Don Siegel. Shows what happens when a writer ignores the facts, doesn't research the subject or doesn't know what he/she is talking about.

I should know. I tried writing an article about the sinking of the "Edmund Fitzgerald" and couldn't handle the techical details.

See you at the movies.

I strongly doubt anyone could of foreseen the madness that took place in Bingington, New York.

Of course "I Married a Monster From Outer Space" had nothing to do with immigration legal or illegal. Like the "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers" was an allegory on on cold war tensions and McCarthy era hysteria about communist infiltration that was a major phobia during the fifties. "The Twenty Sixth Day", also part of the fifties science fiction marathon, was down right overt on these subjects.

I didn't catch Robert Osborn introduction. You have to get snacks sometime. What's a fifties science fiction marathon with out a few good sandwiches.
