This film is a great adaptation of a great novel. 'God's Little Acre' was a best seller right up there with the bible during the 40's. Robert Ryan as Ty Ty is boffo! Michael Landon as a runaway albino! What a masterstroke!

Horrible cartoon of a film. The "Southern" atmosphere is about as convincing as a junior high play in New Jersey.

I saw that it was on TCM, again. I was tempted to rewatch, but resisted.
