We don't know anything about Mamita's husband, and all we know about Gigi's mother is that she's a negligent wannabe opera singer.

Could Gigi's mother have been the bastard daughter of Maurice Chevalier?

If so, that would make Gaston Gigi's first-cousin-once-removed!

Doubtful, but back then people could marry their cousins without it being gross. Many members of prominent families did it to keep the bloodline closed.
