about a third of the way thru the film,trudy is transformed into hideous features..nobody has been killed yet,she's bearing no weapons,no warrant is out..but when she flees,the cops shoot at her on a residential street..
on a side note,at the climax,trudy watches her boyfriend fight a dangerous monster and a mad scientist and,when left temporarily unattended,shes leaps into action by rubbing her temple(shes got a headache)
god, i LOVE this movie...
Ha ha! What about the fact that geezer scientist had no idea there was a relatively huge "secret" addition to his house. I mean, you'd think he or his niece would spot it from the outside of the house. Or the fact, after Oliver Frank announces he's going to kill him and then tries to strangle him to death, the geezer seems to more or less shrug off the the whole thing when that cop knocks on the door- and then he brings it up a few minutes later.

Saw about half the movie today and saw the part where the cop was shooting at her. My reaction was, "WTF?" As far as I could see she wasn't hurting anyone but I thought I might have missed something.

OP: Actually, there is a woman who's bleeding and runs up to a cop saying that the she-beast attacked her. So as funny as this thread title reads, it's not how it plays out in the film.
