YES!!! DVD Release!!!!

Great news!-according to DVD Drive In website::

Horror fans will again be screaming this Halloween when Warner Home Video debuts the “Karloff & Lugosi Horror Classics” on October 6 -- four frightfully fun horror classics all in one collection and on DVD for the first time. Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi, iconic horror actors best known for creating the screen’s original Frankenstein and Dracula characters, star here in other roles in THE WALKING DEAD, FRANKENSTEIN 1970, YOU’LL FIND OUT and ZOMBIES ON BROADWAY. FRANKENSTEIN will include a commentary with Charlotte Austin and Tom Weaver, and THE WALKING DEAD will feature a commentary with Greg Mank. The 2-disc set will be available for $26.98 SRP

Not only great news-but perfect timing-since i've always associated this with Autumn and has a great Halloweentime vibe to it.
I posted earlier that I was concerned that the more time that passed the less likely we were to see a DVD release, but i'm glad I was wrong. To tempt us even further, incredibly, there's even a commentary track, something I never thought would happen.
Lets hope this sells well enough that it makes the movie studios think about releasing some other oldies from this time period that haven't seen the light of the laser beam yet like "Castle Of Evil" & "Destination Inner Space"(both 1966) and other black and white goodies like "The Unknown Terror"(1957), "Man Without A Body" (1957) & "The Thing That Couldn't Die"(1958), all recommended to fans of "Frankenstein 1970" and the vibe of that long gone era...
