I remember being about 8 and watching this on tv. My friends and I were thrilled by the jar of eyeballs. We loved it. Can you imagine an 8 year old sitting through this today, much less being scared by it?

Anyway, films like this marked the end of the era before Hitchcock provided a needed jolt to the genre with "Psycho." This is moderately entertaining, but not very good at all. 5/10 stars from me.
I remember when they showed it on creature double feature when I was 10. It was 1968 and thought wow this is gonna happen in 2 years. Now as I think about it, it is comical. But then in the 50’s they put out tons of really bad horror movies but kids loved them.
