Suprisingly good, but still very flawed

I can't believe they got the scenario surrounding the Star so wrong.

Mostly the problems come from Condensing the story, it seems like Jesus was born within a year of the deaths of Anthony and Cleopatra.

The off hand reference to Alexandra taking Miriam's son to Bethlehem, what does that imply. I suppose to mot the first assumption is that Herod unwittingly killed his own son when ordering the children of Bethlehem slaughtered.

But I'm familiar with Robert Graves, and I can't help but wonder that they might have been trying to say that child was Jesus? The mother being named Miriam and all. This actually what Grave's theory was, and it certainly has no basis in the actual fate of Mariamne's children. But it makes me think.
