Running water?
Vampires can't cross running water, so I find it interesting that there's a rather strong mountain stream right in front of Dracula's castle!

No, it clearly states in the Dracula novel that he cannot cross running water physically, even in bat form. But he can be taken across it, inside a coffin.
shareIt also clearly states in this movie that he cannot take the form of a bat. Clearly, there are differences between this film and the novel.
