sleep well mr harker

WTF..

it makes no sense for dracula to LOCK harker in the bedroom...

dracula invites him to the house, feeds him, shows him to his room and then gives him a KEY to get to his library, and then suddenly locks him in the room.. for what reason?

if dracula wanted to kill him, why not just do it as soon as he laid eyes on him?

even harker doesnt even question it, he carries on as normal, thinking hes gonna wait til the sunrise to kill dracula, how did he think he was gonna manage that, being locked in a room?

Its a plot hole

It wasn't a plot hole, he did it to keep the female vampire away from him. When she finally attacks him Dracula goes berserk as the game is up.
