What do you think of Elizabeth Taylors' hair in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF?

Be honest.

Despite her great beauty--and Soooooooo thin! the hair is not especially good. Too crimped and curled and 1950s. She tested her costumes for "Cat" with wavy shoulder length hair that was fabulous-looking--really sexy and flattering.

But I forgive--the rest of her is perfect--not so slender again on screen until 1973!

It almost looked as good as those sexy legs. In short, I liked it.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

Liz could have worn a paper bag on her head and looked gorgeous. In short, it was impossible to make her look anything less than beautiful. At least at that stage in her life.

She had hair? I didn't notice...

LOL

What we're dealing with here... is a complete lack of respect for the law.

Liz was gorgeous. I have an aunt who wore her hair just like that at the time and she was a stylish and beautiful woman. When we moved to the suburbs in 1958 my mother had her hair styled the same.

I absolutely loved it. Those wisps of curl framing her stunning face... Perfection.

It was like a helmet, so hideous, but that was the style back then. Ava Gardner got that same dome in the 50s.
