On TCM Tonight (5/10/2012)

It was a pretty good low budget crime movie made in 1958. Darren McGavin plays an undercover cop dealing with ruthless gangsters and corrupt police.He had played a cop the year before in Jerry Lewis' first solo film "The Delicate Delinquent",it was a part originally meant for Dean Martin.

Sexy Margaret Hayes is also in this one,I remember her most as the shapely teacher in "Blackboard Jungle". There was also a cameo by rockabilly singer Bobby Helms,singing a song called "Jacqueline"(He was better known for the hits "My Special Angel" and the Christmas classic "Jingle Bell Rock")
