where was Pierre?
Where was Pierre, his brother in this movie? He played a vital part in history. I am wondering why he was left out of both movies.
sharePierre was at his Blacksmith sjop in New Orleans on Bourbon Street. ;-) I'm from New Orleans. Legend says.. Pierre & his brother Jean Lafitte met with Jackson at Pierre's blacksmithery to discuss details prior to the battle. From there, Jackson went to the Ursuline covent to ask for their prayers. There is a very interesting and beautiful stained glass window at the Ursuline convent depicting the battle. LOVE, love, love this film. My Mom preferred the original with Fredric March. Ya'll come visit New Orleans.
