Anne is kind of a dolt (SPOILER)

I know certain women think they can change, or "save", a man they're involved with...but did Anne really think her demands on Raymond and his daughter would ultimately go over well? Especially since she put them in motion almost immediately?

Perhaps the book deals with this better....but you'd think that if she's known them for 15 years, she'd have a better handle on Raymond + Cecile's personalities. Especially as far as the teenage stepdaughter goes...BACK OFF. Practically speaking, she'll be out of the house soon enough!

But No...Anne must let her opinions intrude....good riddance!

Yes, I agree with you. It makes Deborah Kerr's character much less sympathetic.
