Aggrivating

This story is NOT big.
The well deserved accolades do not make up for the fact that this story is underdeveloped.
The Pat character should have been much more heavily fleshed out.
What did Peck see in her when she was in his company out east?
What changed her?
More back story on those magnificent mansions would have helped also.
Too much macho bullshit and not enough history to put this in classic status.
The fantastic music is what will always make this movie watchable.
