Greatly enjoyed LE BEAU SERGE

Jean-Claude Brialy and Gerard Blain's characters in LE BEAU SERGE are most interesting to watch and study. They had been best friends growing up and the fascination between the two characters were displayed on film at many levels. Overall, however, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the film. It seems life really does boil down to love and pain, especially in LE BEAU SERGE.
