Who has a copy?

This is the #1 lost film of the 1950's. A great film by the way. James Dean was scheduled for the lead but he tragically died so Anthony Perkins filled in with great success.
Every copy available is unwatchable, including the copy from LovingTheClassics.com. I know; I have them all.
I think the de Laurentis estate and rights holders are keeping us from seeing a proper restoration.
I have talked to DVD Beaver and DVD Savant and the UCLA Columbia Film Archives; no luck.
If I have any new info I'll share it here.
