Now wait a minute...
Who's doing the attacking? The puppet people or the mad scientist? I'm guessing the guy who thinks up the movie titles was on vacation when they made this one.

shareAlso Known As:
I Was a Teenage Doll USA (working title)
Six Inches Tall UK
The Fantastic Puppet People (undefined)
... and suddenly, Attack of the Puppet People doesn't seem like such a bad choice anymore.
Perhaps a more accurate title might have been: Attack On the Puppet Person!
(John Agar's character does beat the stuffings out of that Jekyll puppet!)
The loneliest puppeteer in the world.

All good alternative titles!
shareOnce I saw the name of the company on the door, I wondered why that wasn't the title: Dolls Incorporated
shareYou know, with all the re-makes coming from filmmakers everywhere, should this title be picked up again, Dolls, Incorporated just might be the new title.
Thanks for the suggestion, gribfritz2.

Yes. I see your point, scotpens. However, any exploitation movie Producer might want that very sort of deception!
I suppose the point of the movie was about how one person dealt with loneliness. Professor Shrinker was a lonely dude. an interesting topic but in itself not enough to make for a full-length movie. Dr. Cyclops (1940) was about gaining knowledge at the expense of human lives.
Well, it's early and I'm not quite awake, so I'd better close. Thanks for posting.

You Fill Me with Inertia.
Did you not see the director/producer. I'm guessing that much like Attack of the the Eye Creatures, Bert I. Gordon just didn't care. 😀
