Yeah, the posters were always better than the films back then. Thinking about that, it really hasn't changed in all these years.
okey, this is the least scary monster of all time, a 50 ft busty woman in bikini? come on... and the main male role is a prick so i'm fine with her squashing him or whatever. well i enjoyed it, it's typical of what would be shown in "elvira's movie macabre", unfortunately i didn't get her hosting though. i saw the tv remake of this when i was a kid, starring daryl hannah, a baldwin brother and bill windom, and the translated title of that to my own language is way cooler than the original english titles, both on tv and vhs it was released as (translating here:) "wow, my wife is a sexy giant", i'm not kidding 😀 i have enjoyed the remake re watching it in recent years, in that version they scrapped the added giant shown sometimes in this and i think it works better that way, so for once a remake gets it right, and having veteran actor windom in it doesn't hurt, also i have a preference for daryl hannah as the... monster? well let's just say giant. by the way, the scenes in this is cut like made for tv anyway, and the special effects are pretty awful aren't they, like the giant sometimes looking more like a ghost, it don't seem intentional, and the hand filling the size of the room looked so unnatural, on the plus side though i realise reading peoples favorite lines is how people talked in the 50's and how things seemed so real. beautiful movie poster artwork, the 1993 didn't get a poster i presume since it being made for tv, speaking of this, they have also made amazing artwork for the often critic bashed terence hill / bud spencer movies.
