Is Yancy's riverboat supposed to be the historical 'Sultana'?

I know that some of the stories are at least somewhat based on historical events. Is it possible that Yancy's 'The Sultana' is supposed to be the same riverboat that exploded on April 27, 1865?

Just began watching the series on GET TV and was wondering the same thing. Since the series occurs 8 or so years following the cessation of hostilities, and the historical Sultana exploded carrying an overflow load of Confederate ex-POWs recovering from their privations, I think it is unlikely they were intended to be the same boat. Still, it is a most unfortunate association, especially considering the extensive loss of life among those scarcely able to help themselves survive the icy Natchez River.
