"Journey to Jail"

I've been watching WDoA on H&I, and am impressed with the series' imagination and quality. "Journey to Jail" is the first poor episode I've seen -- and it was written by the show's producer.

We're supposed to believe that Josh falls for a cheap and cheap-looking female all of a sudden, with no build-up, or plausible motivation?
