Excellent retrospective, I agree that The Pit is excellent and definitely number one. I'm sure you know the John Carpenters Prince of Darkness was scripted by Martin Quatermass in massive respect to these movies. It would be fantastic to see something new made for Quatermass but the originals still scare the crap out of me.
