Beyond This Place There Be Dragons

I remember this episode in its first run. This series was really one of a kind for its day: raw, frank and extremely well-written. This episode in particular struck me (I was 17 y.o. then) due to the heart-rending performance by Frank Gorshih, an underrated actor if there ever was one. Horace McMahon, another fine character actor, contributed greatly to this episode, as he did throughout the series' run. Unforgettable(obviously - I'm writing this 50 years later!)
