Bob Ford

From the first season episode "The Outcast", Martin Landau plays Bob Ford, the individual who allegedly shot Jessie James in the back.
History as we know it today indicates, beyond doubt that James wasn't a "Robin Hood" but a vicious brutal killer.
I've always maintained that for whatever his motive, Ford was justified in killing James! Despite TV, backshooting was very common in those days and was seen from a different perspective.
What a difference 55 years makes - now we have a better picture of James and what he really was.
The Zimmerman case comes to mind...
