Just got Season 5. Anyone else started watching episodes yet?
Just curious. This is the last season that Shelley Fabares would appear as a regular and I am looking forward to watching them.

I've seen the first three and they were very good. Mary has had more screen time so far. I think I still enjoy all 4 actors when they are on screen. Jeff is the funniest of them all, followed by Alex. I liked how showed used to have a nice ending that made you feel good. That does not happen anymore.
shareI've seen the first 4 seasons and hopefully will see season 5 soon. I really enjoy the shows and I agree that back then they did have nice endings. I have some friends who joke about me liking my old sitcoms. I'll pick them over the sitcoms of today, anytime.
shareI'm on disc 3 now and I think I just saw my favorite episode. It's called "The Chinese Horse". I don't want to give anything away, but it was well done and very funny, up to the end.

I finished season 5 last week. I agree that the Chinese Horse was a great episode. Any one have thoughts on the character Trisha? It really took me a while to warm up to her. Nothing against the actress though. I'm just so used to Jeff and Mary being the kids.
