The Stones lived in Colorado!

Well, that is if you believe what you see in Season 5's episode "Jeff Stands Alone."

When Jeff leaves "Hilldale" to go out on his own for the weekend, there is a shot of a downtown area that is supposed to indicate where Jeff went. Well - for whatever bogus reason - it's a shot of DOWNTOWN DENVER, CO!!!

Unmistakable - since it shows the famous Brown Palace Hotel (the street shown is Lincoln Avenue, as it must have looked back then).

Who knew???!!!

"Don't call me 'mac'... HONEY!"

Wow. I never would have guess Colorado.

METV just released a "show for every state" picture claiming the show is set in Iowa. I always assumed they were somewhere in Illinois.

Strange how there was never any snow.

That was so funny(shocking?) to see the Brown Palace in this episode. I eventually got a screen capture of it. The Brown is still there on 17th and Broadway. Lincoln is one block east. The scene by the fountain I don't believe is Denver. There is a major fountain a few blocks south but it looks a little different. Glad to see your post, nycruise-1.

They lived in the generic Midwest. The writers were careful to never reference a specific state, and what you saw was stock footage.
