There was about a 3 second part with a cat in a hammock which was supposed to represent Simon, but he was not mentioned in the credits or by any of the crew, same as the chinese crewman that stayed with the ship through out the ordeal.
shareHe (or at least A cat), also appears for even less time right at the begining in the kitchen, sitting on the work surface whilst someone chops cabbage. I noticed because I am; a) a great cat fan, b) I work in catering and noticed the alleged unhygenic practice that today would have the kitchen closed down!
