Where's the Academy Award?

Am I the only one who finds it absolutely ludicrous this wasn't nominated for an Academy Award for best Animated Short, back in 1957? "Birds Anonymous" won the award, instead. Ridiculous.

Fortunately a far superior cartoon won it (Birds Anonymous). Three Little Bops also should have deserved it better.

Well, it's in the National Film Registry, so it got the last laugh.

Bird's Anonymous is hysterical. I love Sylvester! But, What's Opera Doc, should have definitely been nominated at least.

Of the two, I definitely prefer Birds Anonymous.

While "Birds Anonymous" is definitely the inferior cartoon, it contains what is arguably Sylvester's finest performance.
IMO, Sylvester was the best actor in Termite Terrace.
