Anthony Quinn as Johnny Chicoy?

I read "Wayward Bus" before seeing the movie, and pictured Anthony Quinn in the role of Johnny (Juan) Chicoy so strongly that I suspected that Steinbeck might have written the novel with him in mind.

Hmmmmm....well, I thought Rick Jason was perfect. Quiet, rugged, and subtle. And smoldering good looks. Quinn just didn't look that good IMO.
