LA PARISIENNE.....WHY NOT ON DVD R1???

I was able to get this on VHS and it's the most 'precious' VHS I own!!!

Have looked for years for this in R1 (Region 1, which is the USA) DVD, but no luck!!

You wonder why the IDIOTS who put it on DVD for the rest of the world, and not the USA do such things!!! oh well....at least I have the tape!!!

This is just about the BEST BB movie ever........only "Come Dance with Me" comes close for sparkling comedy and BB at her comedic best.

I remember buying the soundtrack of La Parisienne, all that was available was a 45 rpm EP (extended play) and I treasured it; still do!!!.....I practically wore it out as the jazz score was so fascinating to me...........

All in all, a wonderful farce, as only the French can do!!!!

Tres hilarant! Quelle Ã©clat... This was a really good picture. Also, it's good to try and keep my French somewhere above awful. Wow, IMDB really has no way to render accent marks? All this dough they make, sheesh!

Saw its first appearance on TCM and really enjoyed it. The lighting, color and camera work are very good quality. BB is charming and sexy in all her outfits, even the baggy ones. She falls into poses naturally, and runs around either semi nude or sloshing out of her dresses. Hope TCM shows more of her!

why isn't every dvd/blu ray a multi region dvd/blu ray?
i'll be watching my well treasured vhs again just to mouth-watering,hip-swinging,well-endowed brigitte bardot in the bath.
