I loved this movie when I was a teenager ...

I saw this movie numerous times on Jay Brown's Spartan
Dodge All-Night Movies, or The Old Sourdough and wachikanoki
show in the Bay Area in the 70s ... I loved it ever time I
saw it. It was so funny and yet these guys were so serious
it was great. I want to see it again sometime.

There are some movies from my youth I remember that really
were fun, and who knows why but they had an impact and
were fun to watch.

Like "Attack of the Mushroom People", "The Undead", alot of
these wretched movies about Vampires on Venus, or giant
amoebas on Mars. I just wonder if anyone could have made a
living making these movies and gotten people together that
could have been serious about it?

They are great and from a time never to be repeated. Anyone
else share my appreciation of this film?

Hi. I'm from Northern Ireland and 'Yes' I agree that they are enjoyable. Enjoyable because of the ridiculous plots, because of the bad acting, because of the bad scenery, and, often, because of the unknown cast. As you say they come from a never-to-be-repeated time and therefore have a nostalgic value. I have just secured an 8mm version of the film from ebay. I look forward to that flickering light from the projector...yes, that too helps the film!

Yeah...I did too. I saw it once on a dark, cloudy Saturday afternoon on a local TV station. Yeah it was cheaply made but I had fun with it! It kept my attention, moved quickly and refused to take itself too seriously. I do remember the neat twist at the end too. This has completely disappeared--I hope someone releases it on DVD soon.

It is alot of fun to watch. Roger Corman may not be the best film maker, but he knows how to entertain.

HA ... this movie just crossed my mind again, and I had forgotten about this post of mine. Bummer ... it is still not released, but even worse it is not on any of the streaming services. I'd really like to see this again ... what is the problem?

It's been on YouTube since Nov, 2014

I remember watching it on WPIX channell 11 on chiller theatre in New York.
It's one of my all time favorite "B" horror films. I'm still searching to
buy it, but had no luck. I you should find it somewhere through the Net please let me know.
