I wonder what happened to those horses.

I have always wondered if those horses died being forced off the cliff. The one horse looks like it would have snapped it's neck while the other doesn't like it survived either.

I cannot help but wonder what happened to those horses when they were forced to jumpoff that cliff.

First of all the scene is a stock clip from "Jesse James" 1939. Sadly the horse was killed from the fall. They only shot it once using two cameras at the same time from different angles. I think that was when the A.S.P.C.A stepped in to make sure no more animals were ever harmed in a movie again.
On a side note whenever I watch that scene I can't help shouting. "OHHH *beep* in reference to "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"
