Wow! Great movie.

Never'd heard of it but caught it on TCM today, 25June. One of the reviewers commented on the music, which sounded to me like the soundtrack from some 50s-era sci-fi flick.

I got caught up in it during Lt. Miller's (Rip Torn) testimony: it seemed stilted, like he was trying to remember what he was told to say. A fine, off-the-beaten-track Cold War flick. & The more I see of old Widmark, the more I like his acting style.

I totally agree. Thought I saw every military movie ever made. Saw this on TCM the other day. Totally mind-blowing. Very accurate in terms of Commie methods. Korea no less, later refined in Vietnam. Malden did an excellent job the the screen writer was awesome. Wish he had written more.
