Like many older, now public domain films, this film is viewable on Youtube. It is therefore not the best copy but nevertheless can be watched:

I really liked this film. It started out a little slowly but kept getting more and more interesting. Near the end, I was completely hooked. After the courthouse verdict, I was thoroughly satisfied that this was a very good, but overlooked, movie. I was completely unprepared for what happened next.

What can I say? The ending was gangbusters. One of the best endings I've ever seen.

Couldn't disagree more about the ending. In fact I just wrote a post to that effect on these very boards. I thought the first two thirds of this movie were terrific, but the last 30 minutes went straight off the rails.

This film is most definitely NOT in the public domain. Universal owns it and all attendant rights.

I watched a reasonable copy of this fresh up on You Tube. It's aspect ratio has been altered from it's original Cinemascope. I always prefer movies that are not widescreen.
