The sleazy character that Falco fixes up with Barbara Nichols keep asking her where have we met before? Miami Beach...no...etc....and after Falco leaves she says Palm Springs and don't tell Sidney....that is great writing and direction...beautiful stuff.

I agree. Nichols gives my favorite performance in the film.
