Has anybody heard if this 1957 movie is out on DVD? Where can I buy a copy?

I've only been able to find it on VHS. I don't think that it has been released on DVD. If anyone hear's differently - let me know!
As far as finding it on VHS, I had to go to EBay.

I haven't seen the movie but I just read the book and it was amazing. When I heard it had been made into a movie I was very excited to see it. Sadly, it is not on netflix and not even on DVD, WTF.

Fox will release this in the UK on region 2 on June 26 as part of the Studio Classics line.
U.S. residents would need a multi-region player with PAL converter.
Don't know if this has been any help.
per advertisement from 20th century fox classic heminway collectionis coming soon - does not say what's included but how could they leave the sun also rises out. hopefully not. can not find any other info for this release.
shareThe Sun Also Rises has now been issued on Region 2 in the United Kingdom. There are no extras of any kind and there is no leaflet either. However, the picture quality is superb and is in the original Cinemascope aspect ratio.
shareIt's reported on the www.turnerclassicmovies.com website that a DVD of this movie is due out March of '07 in the U.S. You can pre-order it on this site for $15.99. So, only a few more months--finally!

It's on DVD in the Hemingway Boxset. But good luck finding that, i found it at Best Buy.
