Spook Chasers (1957) will be shown on TCM on Saturday, 14 January 2017, at 930AM central time.

This is a good BB movie, especially if you like slapstick haunted house comedies.

It was this film that got me thinking that the Duke character was never meant to be strictly a replacement for Slip, but was instead introduced as a combination of Slip and the Gabe Moreno character from the earlier BB movies.

Interesting that, with only four movies left to complete the contract, they tinkered with the setup and replaced Kate Kelly with Mike Clancy and added the Blinky character. Also, David Gorcey went back to his real name and stopped using his 1950s stage name of David Condon.
