Dana Wynter saves Rock Hudson with a STEN submachinegun

I think this movie has a scene where Rock Hudson is ambushed by three Mau Mau terrorists at night on the way to his beloved's home. Never walk alone on a country road at night! The three Mau Mau are about to kill Hudson when the sound of machinegun fire shows the three terrorists falling dead to the ground. The camera pans off to the side, showing Dana Wynter just outside her house, holding a smoking British STEN submachinegun.
