The Best Doctor (Victor Frankenstein)?

Follow-up to my Van Helsing post...Who would you say is your favorite actor to portray the good doctor (and not the monster everyone thinks has the name "Frankenstein")?

Second that, Cushing is the best.

Who could NOT say Peter Cushing? I also liked Basil Rathbone in Son of Frankenstein. He however, beats Cushing in the Sherlock Holmes stakes But I do love both versions of Hound of the Baskervilles, equally for different reasons. Hey! It's a draw!

IT'S ALIVE! IT'S ALIVE, IT'S ALIVE, IT'S ALIVE!!!!! etc. (Yeah, we get it... shut up Colin)

Colin Clive was a great Dr. Frankenstein, but for me Peter Cushing will always be THE Dr. Frankenstein

Peter Cushing without a doubt is my number one pick, and I would put Colin Clive as the second best in my opinion

Leonard Whiting did a good job.

Absolutely it's Cushing. He gives us several variations on the same role, all of which are compelling. Several of the films in Hammer's Frankenstein cycle are among the classic horror films of all time and a couple of them are underrated as hell by critics and audiences.

My favorite is Peter Cushing.
