So I take it the Raintree is a metaphor, but for what? For illusory happiness? Is 'searching for the Raintree' supposed to be analogous to seeking boons from The Wizard of Oz, which you shouldn't do, cuz you already have all you need to be happy' (snore)?

The Munchkins want to know.
