Mis-translated subtitles are hysterical!

My copy arrived from Netflix, and it's the original movie but with the option of Chinese or English subtitles. (Actually not really an "option", as I can't turn the (unnecesary) English subtitles off!)

Someone has done a really bad job with them. The zingers are piling up, but my favorite so far has the teacher in the first scene telling a student she has lovely "chest-colored hair". I think they mean "chesnut"?

Totally agreed. They were horrible. And you're right; you can't turn them off either. They were so distracting though, and my eyes kept straying to the bottom of the screen. I eventually just changed them to Chinese! Much less distracting because I didn't know what they said. :D

Oh, yes, they were funny and annoying. My favorite was "Valedictorian" became "violated Victoria."
