He would have been about 20 years old, but there was nothing in the movie that showed anything past about 1865.
Were there some scenes that were cut for the DVD?

yeah cause the son is only like 4,5 at the films end. there's not flashbacks or anythign either. chrsitopher riordon claims on his website that he played liz taylor and monty' son but there's not one photograph out there whatsoever of him actually in the movie. i've seen the movie many times and there isn't anybody playing the son past toddler. like you siad that riordan creature would've been to old, like 20. riordane is one of those fringe hollywood types who have woven tall tales about thierselves and who and what they have done back in the day. trys to make it look like he was a big deal and all.
